About the event

An exploration into our bones, into the pillar of the spine and the moving foundations of the skeleton. These sessions offer an invitation to settle into the oldest places in our bodies, to move with the deep ancestral flow of marrow and access the support of those that came before us, the knowing of which is stored in these older environments of our body.

This is a journey into ourselves, into the essential essence of our form. Embodiment from the perspective of the skeleton offers a sense of presence and  the long memory of ancestry. Imagine that your blood ancestors are standing behind you, imagine all those who’ve come before you with their hands on your back.

There is something deeply satisfying about coming back to our bones, the nourishment and renewal that emerges from finding that in us that has our back.

Each session will take us into this remembering, through movement, touch and spoken enquiry. There will be time to express and time to digest our experiences. Together we will create a rich tapestry of exploration.

Body Mind Centering® is an in-depth practice of embodiment using developmental movement, experiential anatomy and cutting edge research to create a unique vessel of exploration. Using movement, touch and body work, and spoken enquiry we find and express more of ourselves. BMC can bring a richness to your movement

and your enquiry into life.

These sessions are for anyone who wants to expand their range of movement, discover more of themselves, and have a wish to find a greater level of wholeness.

Please bring loose layered clothes to move in. and a sheep skin or a blanket or two to lay on.
